Avidbots raises $23.6M in Series B funding

Avidbots is thrilled to announce that we’ve closed a $23.6 million Series B funding round led by True Ventures. Other returning investors include GGV Capital, SOSV, Real Ventures and 500 Startups Canada. New investors include Next47, BDC Capital and KCPL. To date, Avidbots has raised $36 million in venture capital financing.

The support of these prominent venture capital investors is a testament to the incredibly hard work of the entire Avidbots team over the past two years. We’ve been heads-down building and deploying Neo, the world’s most advanced robotic floor scrubber, and this new capital investment will help us bring Neo to hundreds more locations worldwide. We will use the funding to accelerate hiring and invest in engineering, sales and marketing.  We’re so excited to embark on this next stage of growth at Avidbots!
