Kas rollout gathers speed: New production units head to customers
Fresh off the release of Kas, our pioneering fully autonomous floor scrubber purpose-built for dynamic commercial spaces, today we hit another significant milestone. Avidbots is proud to announce the first production units from our Kitchener-Waterloo plant will soon be coming to a facility near you!
Avidbots has built its reputation on an unwavering commitment to quality. Since our founding in 2014, we’ve continuously pushed ourselves to create well-engineered robots that help our customers achieve more.
Our innovative factory space continues that tradition. It’s a result of years of experience building cutting-edge robotic solutions. All the lessons learned have guided us at every turn. In more ways than one, Kas represents the pinnacle of all our accumulated wisdom over the last decade.
Excellent build quality and reliability have been hallmarks of Avidbots robots since our founding, a North Star guiding us at every stage of Kas’ design and engineering. This mantra also extends to the production process.
Every Kas unit that rolls off the production line has gone through rigorous checks. Our ultramodern manufacturing and testing facility combines the latest tools, technologies, and processes to ensure exacting standards and enable expert craftsmanship.
Thanks to an in-process production sequence, multiple levels of quality control, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we leave no stone unturned in our quest for excellence. Indeed, by the time Kas finds its way into a store, mall, school, hospital, airport, transit station, and more, the robots have already experienced extensive burn-in testing.
“We’re incredibly excited to see the first production units of Kas from our state-of-the-art Kitchener-Waterloo facility. This is a key landmark in our journey to offer our customers an industry-leading one-stop-shop for all their autonomous cleaning robot needs. Kas represents a true evolution in the experience that customers can expect from commercial cleaning robots. It is the culmination of more than a decade of experience designing robots and years of research and development.”
- Pablo Molina, Avidbots’ Co-Founder, CTO, and VP of Product
This facility forms one part of our North American operations and ensures quick lead times and exceptional support. Our expanded domestic capacity allows us to quickly bring this game-changing technology to even more customers.
Alongside our Canadian headquarters and U.S. office, customers can rely on our robust supply chain, distribution, and service networks. It’s just one way we deliver lasting value to our customers throughout the life of their robot(s).
“After so many months of hard work, it’s a thrill to watch Kas robots head out the door on their way to helping our customers keep their facilities cleaner and better maintained. Our dedicated Neo users told us what they wanted: a smaller and more agile robot, built to the latest standards of safety and security, that maintains Neo’s high standards of cleaning and autonomous navigation, while enhancing any environment and its guest experience. And I’m confident Kas will deliver.”
- Duncan McLennan, Senior Product Manager, Kas
